When God Moves Us

God Moves Us

I’ve been pondering the move of God a lot lately.

Maybe its because of the newness all around me.
Maybe its because I see evidence in friend’s lives.
Maybe its because there are brothers and sisters that speak directly to my soul.
Maybe its the atmosphere of praise and thanksgiving.
No doubt its because of the Holy Scripture being preached.

Whatever it is. I don’t want to miss it! I won’t miss out!

There is a higher call on EVERY Christian’s life.
Ours won’t look the same. We’re different members of one Body.
There is a seed planted in each of us that God longs to cultivate.
Will you nourish it?
Will you help it develop and flourish; relying on the Holy Spirit to breathe life into it?

No dying on the vine, my friend.
There’s work yet to do!
No stagnation, either.
There is no life in stagnation.
Let me tell you something here…just because you’re still while waiting on God doesn’t mean you’re stagnant.
Stagnation comes when there is no seeking godliness or holiness.
Stagnation seems to be prevalent when you’ve given up hope that something [that is absolutely God’s will] will happen for you.

Keep the faith, my friend!
The water is stirring.
Only trust Him.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6

Be confident that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6

And this I pray, that your love may about still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9-11

Lord, the hunger for You is strong. The need for Your presence is what is yearned for in our hearts, homes, communities and nations. You want to reveal Yourself even more than that. May we be a people that create an atmosphere to receive You!
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
