Uneducated and Untrained

As I was reading a devotional this morning, it lead me to Acts 4:13-14, which says, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.”

I would have to say that I would qualify as one who is uneducated and untrained in the formal things as far as education is concerned. I am a “layman” on this earth. I do not wish to go after man’s “higher learning”.
I choose to follow Christ and His most excellent Word.

I’m with Jesus. He has given me the ability to attain the knowledge that I need to live for Him; to live a holy life that is totally set apart for His work.

I guess I could say that I am in the school of the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised that He, the Holy Spirit, would teach me all things and bring to my remembrance all things. He imparts wisdom, truth, and discernment. (John 14:17,25-26)

This is be best education and training that I can ever receive!
