Saturday Ease: Connections and Insight

Saturday Ease Connections and Insight

This has been a great week of making connections at our new church, learning lessons from my husband, following a new reading plan, and receiving new books to review!

**The Lord has blessed us more than ever with making new friends at our new church, Restoration Church.
The kindred spirit, the Holy Spirit, is so evident in each individual that we come in contact with!

We are deep into a series on the Gospel of Mark. I was so impacted by a statement that one of our pastors made that I wrote about it in “Get Up From Learning and Start Serving”.

**A few days ago I got new insight on how my beloved husband fathers our boys. What I saw as a moment of them needing correction, he saw as an opportunity to show them grace. I immediately captured my thoughts of it here in A Daddy and His Sons – Insight that Momma Doesn’t Have”.

**I’m a regular reader of Rachel Wojnarowski’s blog, RachelWojo.com. She has kicked of a March Bible Reading Plan that I’m loving already!
It includes reading a chapter a day in Hebrews, James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, and 1 John. Very easy and meaty reading.
She sums up each week with a highlight post of the chapters that have been read that week.
It isn’t too late to join!!

** Prayer is my “spiritual love language”!! I love praying for others through intercession.
I love reading about prayer and being encouraged by faith writers that present the depth that can be had through prayer.
I’m super excited to be able to read and review The Praying Woman’s Devotional by Stormie Omartian, and The Red Letter Prayer Life by Bob Hostetler.
Look for those reviews soon!

In the meantime, you can read about other resources for prayer that I enjoy on my

Called to Prayer  page.
