God is Still There

God is Still There kelanellums.com

I’ve been thinking about my Christian sisters in their pain and anguish they may feel from time to time; marriage issues, sickness, financial difficulties, trusting God, their faith walk not matching their talk, etc.

I know that you want to glorify God in all of it, to be mindful to praise Him in these challenging times.

You ask for prayer, help and encouragement.
Too often you remain silent because of shame.

Those of us that aren’t in that particular struggle don’t always know the magnitude of your deep hurt…no matter how much we try to understand.

You don’t want a cliché phrase or word.
You want to know that you’re safe in your expression.

Do you want to just scream out all of your frustration?
Do you wonder every.single.day. if today will be the day everything will crumble or be built back up?

Every day wont be simple, but every day wont be difficult either.
God is in the every day.

God is still there.

There is something that God has asked us to do where weightiness is concerned:

  • Strip it off. Throw it aside.“Therefore then, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection].” Hebrews 12:1-2 (AMP)

  • Cast it off.”Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” 1 Peter 5:6-7 (AMP)

Don’t neglect or discount the Word of God and the power that it has to transform E.V.E.R.Y. situation, issue and problem!

You KNOW that you’ve experienced the hand of God moving in your life at least once!

Do you not think that He’ll move again?

I know. You may think that this time is different, more difficult..

How dare we not remember God’s hand?!

Once again, be in awe, and righteous fear and trembling of WHO GOD IS!

God isn’t leaving us alone.

God is still there!
