Breathe, Momma

I became a mother 6 times.

With each birth I was told to breathe.

Breathe.
Deep breaths, quick breaths, timed breaths, breaths with contractions.
Those breaths haven’t stopped.

I’ve experienced those same types of breaths as each child grows through phases of their lives.
Babyhood, toddler years, school age years, youthful years, young adult age.

Deep breaths, quick breaths, timed breaths, breaths with contractions.

Catching my breath as joyful times capture my heart!
Blowing breath as air kisses are released and caught.
Holding my breath as I watch them learn something new that they’ll use for the rest of their lives.
Breathe.

Mother’s Day approaching naturally has me thinking of my children; the life breathed into them by the Almighty.
Not a breath did I give my children.

Every breath that I’ve released to bring them into this world wasn’t mine, but the Almighty’s.
He breathed life into their frames.
He then charged us, as parents, to breathe more life into them by showing them the TRUE LIFE GIVER.

Breathe Momma.

Breathe the truth of God’s Word into your children.
…even when (especially when) its deep breaths, quick breaths, timed breaths, breaths with contractions.
