Be Aware. Not Alarmed

There’s no need for alarm when you’re aware.

There’s no denying that as a follower of Christ there is an enemy that wants to steal from us, kill us, and destroy us.
Jesus said so in the first part of John 10:10.

Since we KNOW that the enemy plans our demise, we should be aware, and not alarmed when he activates his plans.

Be sober! Be alert! Your adversary, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour. Resist him and be firm in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.
1 Peter 5:8-9

With this knowledge, we can always be on the ready to resist and overthrow him.
We can render him ineffective!

Be firm in the faith. Don’t waver in the stance.
We’ve been given everything that we need to be firm in the faith. Does Ephesians 6:10-18 ring a bell?
Well….we can use it to ring the enemy’s bell, for sure!

“Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might”, Ephesians 6:10 says.
Our strength and the power comes from God almighty.
We have instructions; a battle plan!

Be aware, first, of God’s strategy. Be aware of how the enemy chooses to attack over and over again; hitting where we’ve left ourselves vulnerable. Cinch that up!
Ask God for wisdom to overcome any area that deliverance is needed from.

There’s no need for alarm when you’re aware.
