Post-It – Put It in the Past

Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.
Philippians 3:13

Not that I forget what God has brought me through, its that I don’t allow it to define me!
I “post-it”, as in, put it behind me!

In order to post-it, I have to know what IS ahead of me!
When I dig for that, I’m always reminded of my identity in Christ; that I am the righteousness of Christ.

I want my new identity recall to be stronger than my post recall.

When I was a new believer (in my early 20s), I’d hear that I could read ALL ABOUT my new identity in Ephesians.
They were right!! I combed through Ephesians and marked each “I’m made new” scripture with the abbreviation, “id”, for identity.

Have you ever done that with Ephesians?
Or perhaps there are other Scripture that you hold dear that describes your new identity in Christ.
Would you share those?
