Caffeinated Randomness: My Birthday!

12 Comments on Caffeinated Randomness: My Birthday!

I wish that I were brave enough to do a “Happy Birthday to Me” giveaway, but I don’t have the desire to do deal with that.

Actually, I do have something to give away, and you don’t have to leave me a comment to win it. I give you my prayers.

I pray that each one that visits here:

  • Hears God clearly in all things.
  • Love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.
  • Love others no matter what they have or haven’t done to or for you. Our command is to love. Period.
  • Chase hard after God.

Oh! Just in case you’re wondering, my birthday is this Sunday (Aug. 29) and I’ll be 37 years young.

The older I get, the wiser I become. I think that’s actually adding years to my life.

I don’t think I’ll be getting any balloons or even a cake (like I need it!), but I’m cool with that.

I know my family loves me. Their hugs, kisses and well wishes are  good enough for me.

While I go and “celebrate”, you can head over to Andrea’s place; Under Grace and Over Coffee to read more Caffeinated Randomness!

Until next time…Be Abundantly Blessed!

  • Have a blessed birthday, Kela! I’ll be 39 years young this year!

    God bless you!

  • What a wonderful giveaway! In fact, this is the best giveaway I have ever seen! Thank you!

Happy Birthday, Kela. I also will be 37 years young in ten days…:) I totally agree – I can’t believe how much I know now that I didn’t know then and yet I know that in ten years, I’ll probably say the same thing about now. Wisdom is such a gift.

    Have a wonderful birthday!

  • Happy Birthday. I’ll be doing the Celebration dance for you on Sunday. Thank you for the gift. It’s awesome and such a blessing to each of us.

PS: If you can’t get a cake, why not hop over the Denny’s for your free lunch.

  • Hope you enjoy a blessed birthday Kela. How wonderful for you to even think of your readers as you prepare to celebrate another year of life. Only one person would receive a gift but prayers can reach us all. God bless.

  • Happy Birthday, girl!! Your comment about wisdom aging you totally cracked me up. Maybe I should stop praying for so much of it while I am ahead! 😛

  • Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!!

@ Andrea, our gracious hostess…I said that it’s ADDING years (as in, lengthening my days), not aging me. I wouldn’t be too happy about that. LOL.
Now you’re cracking me up! Love you girl!

  • Haha! Maybe I should try reading after I have caffeine!

  • What a beautiful giveaway!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend celebrating….ENJOY!

This was so creative — I love the idea of the prayer as a giveaway. Really — who needs more stuff? And who needs more prayers — we all do! Happy birthday, sweet girl!

  • Amen and happy birthday once again! 🙂 You don’t look a day over 25!

  • Kela, Happy, happy b’day! Trusting God is blessing you beyond measure today! Kela, I was inspired by your comments on Ordinary Inspirations and decided to check out your blog(s). What a blessing it has been to me! You are a woman after God’s own heart!

  • Happy belated birthday!!!
